One finding a builder who is prepared to come bush for work. Finding the tradesmen that are prepared to come work in the bush with the builder.  Getting all the materials from various locations to the site for the works to take place.

Nathan handled all his staff, and trades that were need on the site and the transportation of the materials with ease. Therefore, it made it so much easier for us, as it didn’t interrupt our working business. Throughout the entire building process, we were constantly consulted and kept updated as to the progress.  Taking control of the job from day one meant that all subcontractors required for Design, Engineering, Earthworks, Plumbing, Painting, etc were handled by Nathan, therefore eliminating the need for us to rush around organising these additional services.

For my husband and I who haven’t ever done any renovations or building before, we both found Nathan a pleasure to deal with.  We sort knew what we wanted in our renovations, but we were unsure on how to get there.  Nathan was good with throwing ideas around to see what suited us and was prepared to try new things and work through any problems we had.

“The decision to build or renovate anywhere that is located significant distance from any major town is always a challenge. Aside from the massive interruption to already busy lives by having to organise everything that comes with building, the main constraint is, obviously, having access to professional builders and tradespeople willing to travel. We are big believers in the power of “word of mouth” and Nathan and his team at Hodge Town and Country Builders were highly recommended to us from friends and associates in the area. We had been a few years planning to put up a new feed shed and renovate our old home but had been waiting for the right person/business for the job. Nathan and his team have a very high standard of workmanship and many years of building

We were also extremely impressed with the minimal amount of wasted materials leftover from the job, Nathan even suggesting reusing material where possible. Nathan’s communication skills are exceptional and, always conscious of how any project can blow the budget, we were particularly impressed with his constant updates of how we were going both building and budget wise. As with many old buildings, we came across a few problems, but Nathan seemed unfazed and we easily worked through them. We also really appreciated how quickly Nathan grasped the style of home we were trying to create and the ideas that he put forward from a builder’s point of view. We were constantly consulted throughout the whole renovation and have a beautiful home to show for it! We would highly recommend Hodge Town and Country Builders for any building requirements.
